Discrimination and Sexual Harassment Complaint Procedure
Policy Purpose
To set forth the commitment and compliance of Farmingdale State College to the principles of State University of New York document 6501 entitled "Discrimination and Sexual Harassment Complaint Procedure.”

Policy Statement
Farmingdale State College, as an institution of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, is required to comply with all policies as promulgated by SUNY unless such policy allows for or requires a separate policy on the issue at hand be adopted by an individual institution of SUNY. With regard to SUNY document 6501 Discrimination and Sexual Harassment Complaint Procedure, such procedure does not allow for a separate policy or procedure by individual institutions of SUNY. Therefore, Farmingdale State College adopts and will comply with and enforce all aspects of the SUNY Discrimination and Sexual Harassment Complaint Procedure as written.
Procedures
Procedures for filing discrimination and sexual harassment complaints can be found in the SUNY document 6501 Discrimination and Sexual Harassment Complaint Procedure. These procedures provide a mechanism through which Farmingdale State College may identify, respond to, and prevent incidents of illegal discrimination.
To file a discrimination complaint, contact Human Resources at 934- 420-2107.
To file a sexual harassment complaint, contact the Title IX Coordinator at 934-420-2104.
