Catch Up or Get Ahead

Summer at Farmingdale - Accessible and Affordable

Farmingdale State College is pleased to offer hundreds of courses during the summer of 2020. This is an opportunity for current students to sustain progress toward their degrees and non-matriculated students to prepare for degree programs with a wide range of course options available from the region's fastest growing public college. You can satisfy general education requirements, complete courses in your major, or fulfill elective requirements.

In addition, Farmingdale offers the lowest cost per summer course of any four year college on Long Island

Students can take advantage of FSC's comprehensive summer course schedule. Courses for the A, C and E Summer Sessions begin on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 and will be taught via a distance learning format.

We are hoping to welcome back students for campus based, face to face instruction in July for many of our Summer B session classes. The College will, of course, use an abundance of caution before making choosing to offer courses on campus. We anticipate that a decision will be made by June 8th. In the event that face to face courses cannot be delivered in Summer B, the College will make every effort to offer many online options for students. Please continue to check the web site for available courses and any updates. Please consult with your academic department with any questions you may have.
