Coronavirus Update: Tutoring Center
The Tutoring Center has suspended face-to-face tutoring sessions and workshops for the remainder of the semester. Online tutoring is available through NetTutor and RamTutor during this time. Please visit this page for the latest updates. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
The Tutoring Center provides a variety of free services to currently registered Farmingdale State College students. These services include walk-in tutoring (no appointments necessary) for select courses in which students are currently enrolled. Sessions are conducted in an individual or group setting, depending on demand. Tutors are available for many business, computer programming, science, and technology courses taught at the College. Online tutoring is available in select courses through NetTutor and RamTutor. Workshops, designed to help students develop college-level academic skills, are available in many academic success related areas.
Please see the tutoring schedule for specific tutor and course availability. We strongly recommend students view our FAQ/What to Know About Tutoring and Student Responsibilities documents before coming in for their initial tutoring session. Please check this page often for any important announcements (such as a tutor will not be in, changes to the schedule, etc.).
