Last Day of Tutoring for Spring 2026: Monday, May 18th
The final day for tutoring for the Spring 2026 semester will be Monday, May 18th. Tutoring will resume for the summer session on Wednesday, May 27th.
The Center for Academic Success & Tutoring (CAST) at Farmingdale State College provides high-quality tutoring and academic support services. Our services are free for all registered students currently enrolled in courses.
Peer and professional tutors are enthusiastic and trained to work with all students. We help students in a variety of ways whether reviewing for an important exam, talking through a difficult problem, revisiting earlier concepts, or listening to ideas. Our sessions start as conversations, so that we can breakdown concepts in a way that makes sense to you.

New Service
Wrap-up Wednesday
Join CAST for our annual Wrap-Up Wednesday event for drop in tutoring and academic coaching for select courses from 11am-3pm. During this time appointments are not need; students can walk-in to meet with a tutor or academic coach.

New Service
Activity Hour Walk-in Sessions
CAST is offering new walk-in tutoring hours for our most popular subjects, taking place during Activity Hour (Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11am to 12pm)!
No appointments necessary and students do not need to be currently enrolled in the course.

- Enter through main building doors towards staircase. Entrance is located through the double doors.
