Math Placement Test

Overview

College-level math can more rigorous than high school courses, even when it is the same content. The Math Placement Assessment is designed to assess your math skills and place you in the appropriate math level where you can be most successful.

Prior to registering for a placement, students are encouraged to meet with their academic advisor. Students should also view the General Placement Testing Information page for further information. 

Description

The assessment is on-campus and take approximately 1-hour to complete. Students will answer 20 multiple-choice questions. The use of calculators is not permitted unless an accessibility accommodation was approved by the Disability Services Center (DSC) before the test date. Please contact the DSC for additional information on testing accommodations.

How do I receive my score?

Upon completion, students will be e-mailed a copy of their score with their math placement level. Students will then need to notify their academic advisor or academic department of their test result to determine proper course registration.
