Welcome! The Office of Transfer Services is committed to providing you with assistance at every step of the transfer process, from application to registration and beyond. We offer programs and initiatives to ease your transition process to make becoming a Ram effortless.
We partner with community colleges to establish transfer credit equivalencies and provide accurate and timely transfer credit evaluations. Whether you are a new transfer, an adult learner or first-year student with college credit from high school, or a current student planning to take courses elsewhere and transfer the credit back, we are readily available to assist you.

Each major has their own specific admission requirements. Be sure to review the programs you are interested in to guide you through your admissions application process.
Admissions Deadlines & Requirements
Please choose one of the application services listed below, or if you’ve been away
for two semesters but less than five years, apply for readmission through the Returning
Student Application. Applications open for the upcoming Spring and Fall semesters on August 1st. Official College Transcript(s) Must be sent directly by your college. Please contact your college's Registrar’s Office
to request an official transcript. Official High School Transcript Must be sent by your high school counselor. AP Score Report Must be sent through CollegeBoard. For documents to be considered official, they must be submitted directly by the issuing
institution using one of the following methods: *Additional documents may be required depending on your background. Please refer to
our FAQ below for details. You may email these documents to processing@farmingdale.edu. Alternatively, you can use our Document Drop Box to upload Word documents, PDFs, or image files. Log in using your FSC Ram Portal
credentials, which you’ll receive by email after applying. Checking Application Status The personalized FSC Ram Portal will help you keep track of everything you need to
complete your application and prepare it for review. Access your FSC Ram Portal here. After Acceptance: Next Steps After you’re accepted, your personalized FSC Ram Portal will guide you through the
steps you need to complete. Not all steps apply to every student, and your portal

*Please note: Some programs, such as Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Aeronautical Science:
Professional Pilot, Applied Psychology, and Medical Laboratory Science, have earlier
application deadlines due to limited seating and high demand.
*Not required for admission if the applicant has completed 24 or more college credits,
but still required for financial aid eligibility.

Application fee waivers are handled by the SUNY and Common Application services, not
by our institution. If you experience issues with your application not being submitted due to a fee waiver
problem, please contact the SUNY Recruitment Response Center for assistance. You can reach support at: 1800-342-3811 Applicants who have received an email with their RAM Portal login credentials can
submit a New Student Curriculum Change Form through their RAM Portal. The form can
be found toward the bottom of the page, just below the checklist. For detailed information about the financial aid process, please visit our Financial Aid Office webpage. If you need to submit financial aid documents, use our Secure Document Upload Form. *Please note: Non-matriculated students are not eligible to receive financial aid. Students who have completed coursework outside the United States must have their foreign
transcripts evaluated for U.S. educational equivalency by a member of the National
Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). Both an official credential evaluation report and official transcripts are required
for admission. How to Get Your Transcripts Evaluated How to Submit Official Transcripts In addition to the evaluation, you must also submit your official foreign transcripts
using one of the following methods: Note: Unofficial or scanned copies submitted without proper verification will not
be accepted. To submit your GED, first request your official GED diploma and scores through the
New York State Education Department. You can visit their site here. Once you have your official GED documents, including both your GED scores and diploma,
you may submit them in person or email them directly to processing@farmingdale.edu. To submit a Joint Services Transcript (JST), please follow the submission process
on their website to ensure your transcripts are sent correctly. Next, submit your DD214 or Certificate of Eligibility (COE): If you are entering as a non-matriculated student, please note: For more information for Veteran Admission please visit our Veteran Affairs page. Out of State Home Schooled Students: Requirements for homeschooled students vary by state. If you are not a resident of New York State, please contact the Admissions Office at 934-420-2200. New York State Home Schooled Students: Applicants who are New York State residents and currently enrolled in a homeschool
program must provide the following documentation: Students who are NY State residents enrolled in a high school program that is not
recognized by the NY State Education Department of Education must provide a High School
