COVID Information
Farmingdale State College has been remarkably successful in dealing with the ongoing public health crisis. Your cooperation will allow us to safely move to a much more normal and extensive campus experience.
The College urges everyone to take steps now to receive the COVID vaccine. It is free of charge. Once you have received your COVID vaccine, please upload your proof of vaccination.
All employees who test positive are required to self-report using the self-reporting form.
Please note, you may be required to submit a laboratory confirmed test (rapid or PCR) from a medical provider. Human Resources will contact you after you self-report to give further guidance.
Masking
The College will reimpose the indoor mask requirement in the event of any significant resurgence of COVID or changes in state, local, or federal requirements.
Testing
Effective 9/1/2022, employees are no longer required to participate in weekly testing on campus.
COVID Positive
Employees who test positive should remain home and report the positive test result using the self-reporting form.
Student COVID Sanctions
Farmingdale State College (FSC) remains committed to ensuring a healthy campus environment for all members of its community. Pursuant to guidance issued by the State University of New York (SUNY) Chancellor’s Office, the Office of the Dean of Students intends to address COVID-19 related behaviors that threaten or endanger the health and safety of others. FSC has developed modified disciplinary guidance for all students.
