How You Can Take Care, Help Others, and Get Involved

Stress & Time Management
- Break tasks into small steps
- Use a planner or calendar
- Take short breaks to recharge
Sleep, Nutrition & Movement
- Aim for 7–9 hours of sleep
- Stay hydrated and eat regularly
- Move your body to boost energy and mood
Resilience & Mindset
- Practice self-compassion

- Setbacks are normal, you’re not alone
How to support someone who may be struggling.
What to Look For
- Withdrawal, mood changes, or academic struggles
- Talking about being overwhelmed or hopeless
What to Say
- “I’ve noticed you seem off lately. Want to talk?”
- Listen without judgment and offer support
When to Refer
- Always offer to help them connect with CMHS
- Immediately refer if they mention self-harm or not coping
