The last day of tutoring for the Fall semester is December 18th. CAST will reopen for tutoring on February 2nd.

The Center for Academic Success & Tutoring (CAST) at Farmingdale State College is
committed to ensuring student success by delivering high-quality tutoring and academic
support services. The Center provides several support services to currently registered
Farmingdale State College students for courses in which they are currently enrolled,
free of charge. These services include face-to-face tutoring, online/remote tutoring, academic success workshops, and academic coaching. Face-to-face tutoring sessions are conducted on an appointment basis in an individual
or small group setting. Although tutoring is not available for every course or subject
area, the Center typically coordinates tutoring in over 100 courses each semester.
The Tutoring Course Availability page lists the courses which have tutoring available this semester. The CAST Tutoring Schedule displays when the tutors are available and contains links to the Bookings appointment
scheduling system to make an appointment.
We strongly recommend students view our Frequently Asked Questions, the Student Tutoring & Coaching Agreement, and our Appointment Policy prior to their initial tutoring or academic coaching session.
