FILL Social Events and Trips are designed to bring learning to life through connection, exploration, and shared experience. These offerings provide opportunities for participants to engage with one another beyond the classroom while discovering cultural, historical, and recreational destinations both locally and beyond.
From campus-based social gatherings and speaker receptions to guided museum visits, theater outings, day trips, and special excursions, FILL Social Events and Trips foster a strong sense of community and belonging. Each experience is thoughtfully curated to encourage conversation, reflection, and enjoyment, reinforcing the Farmingdale Institute for Lifelong Learning’s commitment to lifelong engagement, enrichment, and meaningful connection at every stage of life.

Aviation Center & Air Traffic Control Lab Tour

Tour the FSC Aviation Center to explore the Northeast’s largest collegiate flight school and state-of-the-art Air Traffic Control (ATC) lab. See the training fleet, experience advanced ATC simulations, and meet staff to learn about the requirements for professional pilot careers
