Seasonal Spring 2024 Hike:

The hike will take place on Thursday April 4th at 11 AM with a rain date of April 11th.

Please be advised that all trips are undertaken at your own leisure. Farmingdale state college assumes no responsibility for any incidents or accidents that may occur on these trips. It is important to note that for certain destinations, a waiver may be required to be signed by participants. Your safety and well-being are paramount, so please exercise caution and adhere to any guidelines or requirements provided by the college and the visited locations. 

Bethpage State Park

Bethpage State Park is a 1,477 acre New York State Park located on the border of Nassau and Suffolk County.  It has numerous hiking/biking trails that intersect.  We will meet at the picnic area parking lot at 11:00 AM and hike for approximately two hours.  All trails are flat and suitable for both the first time hiker and the experienced. There is a bathroom located at the picnic area lot and there is no charge for parking for seniors during the week.  Bring water/snack and enjoy a wonderful and healthy outdoor experience.  When registering, please submit both your cell phone number and your email address.  If after registering,  you need to cancel or have any further questions please don't hesitate to reach out to our office directly.
