Get started with your FSC RAM Portal

You can complete the majority of the necessary steps to enroll at FSC remotely by using your FSC RAM Portal. The portal will help you keep track of everything that you need to do as an accepted student. 

You should have received an email with login instructions. If you forgot your password, please click “Reset Password” and enter the email address that you used to apply. Please contact the Admissions Office at 934-420-2200 or admissions@farmingdale.edu if you are having trouble signing in.

Accepted Student Checklist

Pay your $100 tuition deposit to secure your place in the incoming class. 

Get acquainted with your Farmingdale email and other accounts you will be using throughout your time at FSC. To set up your Farmingdale email, log onto your FSC RAM Portal and follow the instructions.

Establish the rest of your Farmingdale accounts by visiting the "Get started with technology" page. Please reach out to the Information Technology department through the IT Service Desk Portal or at helpdesk@farmingdale.edu if you need assistance.   

All students are required to submit proof of immunization and a meningitis waiver form to the Health and Wellness Center, in accordance with New York State law. You can easily submit your documentation through the Student Patient Portal. If you have any questions contact the Health and Wellness Center at 934-420-2014

Meet with your academic advisor to construct your schedule for the upcoming term. You can identify your advisor through the Academic Advisors Directory by searching for your major and applicable student type. Schedule your appointment as directed.  

Meet fellow incoming students, familiarize yourself with the campus, and learn what being a part of the FSC family is all about at Orientation! To register and pay for orientation, please visit your FSC RAM Portal

If applicable, send your official final high school transcript, with graduation date posted, and all updated college transcripts before classes start to Admissions.  

Purchase a $30 parking permit at University Police. To obtain a student ID card, bring a copy of your student schedule or paid bill to University Police. Resident students can get a student ID card one week prior to move-in day. Commuter students can get one during the first week of classes.

 

Optional Next Steps 

The Office of Financial Aid can provide you with information about financial support to help pay for college and assistance with the financial aid process. Submit your FAFSA as soon as possible for need-based federal and college-based grants, work-study opportunities, and loans. Sign in to your OASIS account to manage your student account and financial aid.

The Spring 2024 - 2025 Excelsior Scholarship will open December 2024.  

If you are a student thinking about living on campus, complete the Housing Application Form located in your FSC Ram Portal. It is advised to apply as soon as possible as we have a limited amount of space available.

Students can contact the Office of Residence Life to address any questions. 

If you are a student with a disability: learning, ADHD, health issues that interrupt your day to day experiences, or any other disability, register with the Disability Services Center and complete the "Getting to Know You" form. Our team will reach out and learn how we can support your experience at FSC.

Accepted students can log into their FSC Ram Portal to complete the Scholarship Survey for a chance to receive additional funding. For more information regarding scholarships, students can refer to the Scholarship webpage.
