Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) unions have threatened a work stoppage beginning this Saturday, May 16. Negotiations are ongoing, and we remain cautiously hopeful that a resolution will be reached. In preparation for a full train service shutdown, the following is guidance for students, faculty, and staff.
Students in need of assistance can contact the Dean of Students Office at Email or 934-420-2104.
University Police will suspend parking ticketing during the days impacted by the strike.
Alternate Transportation
- Suffolk County Transit and NICE (Nassau Inter-County Express) bus systems both make stops on campus.
