Academic Status: Warning, Probation, or Suspension
Academic Warning applies to first-time, full-time first-year students with a first-semester GPA below 2.0. Students may continue but must meet with Dr. LaNina Cooke to create an Action Plan. A registration hold remains until the plan is completed. Schedule an advisement appointment with Dr. Cooke. click here
Failure to earn a 2.0 GPA by semester’s end results in Academic Probation (except first-time, full-time first-year students on Academic Warning). Probation indicates a risk to good academic standing. Students may continue enrollment but must meet with an Academic or Faculty Advisor for support. Two consecutive semesters below 2.0 may lead to suspension.
