Academic Status: Warning, Probation, or Suspension
Academic Warning applies only to first-time, full-time first-year students with a first-semester GPA below 2.0. Students may continue enrollment but must meet with Dr. LaNina Cooke to create an Action Plan. A registration hold remains until the Action Plan requirements are completed. Failure to earn a 2.0 GPA by semester’s end results in Academic Probation (except first-time, full-time first-year students on Academic Warning). Probation indicates a risk to good academic standing. Students may continue enrollment but must meet with an Academic or Faculty Advisor for support. Two consecutive semesters below 2.0 may lead to suspension. Students on probation should schedule an advisement appointment with Dr. LaNina Cooke here
To review your next steps, students on suspension should schedule an advisement appointment with Dr. LaNina Cooke here
