SGA Scholarships
The Student Government Association, in partnership with the Farmingdale College Foundation will be able to award 5 scholarships during the Spring 2026 semester. These awards will be applied to your 2026-2027 balance.
The scholarships awarded were part of the 2023-2024 SGA Executive Board's goal and vision of creating financial support for currently enrolled FSC students.
SGA Scholarships are now open and are due by March 2nd, 2026 at 5pm.
Eligibility
Students who are eligible to receive the Scholarship must meet the following criteria:
- Student must be a rising freshmen, sophomore or junior. International students ARE eligible to apply.
- Enrolled full-time, (minimum of 12 credits per semester)
- Demonstrates academic achievement, with a minimum GPA of 3.2
- Must be in good standing with the College as defined by the Student Code of Conduct
Review your student account prior to requesting funds. Students must have already applied for all eligible financial aid- i.e. FAFSA, TAP, Dream, Excelsior, Part-time Aid, etc.)
Students who are already receiving full scholarship/grant funding for room, board, and tuition are not eligible.
Submission & Deadline Information
- Application materials: Generate written responses to the prompts outlined on the scholarship
application.
- Video submissions are also accepted
- All Applications are due Monday, March 2nd at 5pm
- Award amounts vary from $750 to $1500. Information for each scholarship is provided on the application.
