Karen Gelles is Acting Associate Provost at Farmingdale State College, overseeing student success initiatives including advising, tutoring, and access programs. Since joining FSC in 1999, she has served as Library Director, led the Faculty Center and Distance Learning, and chaired multiple campus governance committees. She holds B.A. degrees in Music Performance and Psychology from SUNY Geneseo and an M.S. in Library and Information Science from Simmons University.

Dr. Christopher LaBarbera is currently Assistant Provost at SUNY Farmingdale State College. In this role, Dr. LaBarbera supports the College's academic initiatives and oversees Distance Learning, the Faculty Center, the NEXUS Center for Career Development and Applied Learning, as well as the area of Microcredentials. Prior to this position, Dr. LaBarbera served as the Assistant Provost and Dean of the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences at MassBay Community College for ten years.
