Nexus Center for Career Development and Applied Learning

• Dress For Success Fashion Show: FSC students volunteered to participate in an interview-wear fashion show and resume workshop to promote career readiness. This service event was hosted by the Nexus Center in partnership with Dress for Success External link, a non-profit organization providing interview-ready clothes for underemployed women and female college students. Thanks also to corporate sponsors, Lord & Taylor and Men's Wearhouse. 
• Nexus Center Service Day Fall 2019: The Nexus Center and International Education and Programs partnered with Community Legal Advocates of NY to present the FSC Day of Service and Advocacy, an event that addressed current immigration issues and earned student participants credit for the college's Applied Learning Graduation Requirement:
