The mission of the Coding Club 4 All is to create a place for architects and builders of the digital age by continuing to expand the coding culture at Farmingdale State College. We foster a love for coding by providing students the opportunity to engage with technologists and computing experts.

SWiC Club

The Supporting Women in Computing (SWiC) Club aims to promote women, break down gender barriers, and help expand women’s knowledge and experience in the field of computing in a collegial, casual, and fun atmosphere. SWiC organizes and co-hosts on campus hackathons, competitions, and speaker events as well as off campus field trips to women centric conferences and events throughout the year.

SWiC is great place to share ideas, learn about trending topics in computing, meet and socialize with fellow students and faculty and is open to all genders.

ACM Computer Technology Club

The ACM Computer Technology Club is an educational and fun group.

The purpose of this club is to facilitate the needs and interests in the computer science, networking, computer gaming and programming on campus. We are providing an atmosphere in which club members can share their ideas. In the ACM Computer Technology Club, we explore innovations using hardware, networking, and software.  We try to help any student with his or her computer problems.  Our mission is to promote computer programming and to expand the scope of computer knowledge within Farmingdale State College.

The ACM Computer Technology Club attends industry conferences that are very current and pertinent to student and faculty learning. We also organize/attend Coding Contest, Workshops and Hackathons in collaboration with Supporting Women in Computing (SWiC) Club
