Virtual Reality Therapy

Campus Mental Health Services offers virtual reality therapy for phobias and stress reduction. VR allows us to amplify the effectiveness of proven treatments and provide treatment in environments that are normally unavailable. We can help a student conquer their fear of heights without having to go to a tall building. We can help a student overcome their fear of flying without setting foot on a plane. If a student is stressed, they can sit on a rocky beach and listen to the waves.
VR treatment is available for the following fears / phobias:
- Public speaking
- Flying
- Spiders
- Dogs
- Heights
- Bridges
- Darkness
- Storms
- Needles
- Roaches
