Joseph Lamantia

Joseph Lamantia (Joe) is Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Growth Officer of Catholic Health. In this role, he serves as a key advisor on clinical and business transformation for Catholic Health, its six hospitals, ambulatory outpatient network, and other facilities and programs. He leads system-wide strategy development, service line optimization, population health advancement, ambulatory network integrity and expansion, and enterprise growth through new business ventures, partnerships, and innovation. He provides administrative oversight of all clinical service lines, ambulatory centers, population health initiatives, shared risk relationships and business developments.
Joe is responsible for spearheading Catholic Health’s expansion and growth strategy and for ensuring the Health System remains competitive, relevant, and mission-aligned in a dynamic healthcare environment. Under his leadership, the health system has greatly expanded its network of providers and ambulatory care facilities, opening multiple Ambulatory hubs and urgent care locations, increasing access to Catholic Health’s services from Queens to Long Island’s east end and ensuring the health system evolves alongside consumers’ increasing preference for outpatient care.
Prior to joining Catholic Health, Joe served as the Eastern Region Senior Vice President of Northwell Health, responsible for all facilities and ambulatory operations across Nassau and Suffolk counties of Long Island for the largest health system in New York State. Joe received a B.A. from SUNY Cortland and an M.H.A. from Hofstra University.
