Welcome to the Office of International Education & Programs at Farmingdale State College. Farmindgale State College is a multicultural community of people from diverse backgrounds.

In alignment with the vision of the State University of New York, Farmingdale State College is committed to building a more informed and inclusive society through global learning by supporting equity and providing opportunities. Educational services of the highest quality must empower students and prepare them for the interconnected world. We seek to embed global learning as an integral part of the educational services provided by SUNY in support of communities across New York State and the world.

Our activities, programs, classes, workshops, lectures, and everyday interactions are enriched by our acceptance of one another, and we strive to learn from each other in an atmosphere of positive engagement and mutual respect.

In the Office of International Education and Programs, we look forward to guiding you through the possibilities of studying abroad, attending an international conference or participation in globally engaged teaching and learning.

International Partnerships

The Office of International Education and Programs also administers exchange agreements and processes students for all SUNY-wide study abroad programs. Our staff supports the needs of all students who study abroad. Students living and studying in a foreign country will gain in-depth knowledge of another culture's customs, people, and language. Studying abroad can promote academic enrichment and personal growth, broaden intellectual horizons and enhance employment opportunities.
