Panopto

Panopto is a video recording platform designed for instructors. It allows them to record lectures, presentations, and other educational content. The platform also helps manage and organize these videos, making it easy for both instructors and students to access and engage with the recorded materials.

Where to find Panopto

Panopto can be found within a module under the existing activities drop down menu. Once in this menu press External Learnings Tools then scroll down and press Panopto Video-Far. This will place the Panopto Video tool into the module. Now once you press into the tool it allows you to upload, store, and record videos for the course. You can hide this tool within a module in your course. To place a Panopto video into a module, you must go press on the Upload/ Create button then press “Create a File (Web Page)”.  On the rich text editor next to insert quick link there is an option to “Insert Stuff”. Once you press onto this option you should see Panopto-Far as one of the options. From here you can choose the video to be placed into the module.
