General Needs and Emergency Grants

New for Fall 2026: 

Students are now able to apply for a General Needs Voucher Assistance and an Emergency Needs Support.  Both supports are need based.  Complete guidelines and application instructions are available in RamCentral.  

 

Our General Needs Voucher Assistance is designed to assist students who may benefit from Basic Needs Supports to complement our Food Insecurity Supports.  Students who are approved for this support will be issued a $50 General Needs Voucher that can be used at a variety of merchants.  This support can be used for personal hygiene products, cleaning supplies, cooking supplies (other than food), and weather appropriate clothing for business needs.   

 

Our Emergency Needs Support is grant funded and is designed to assist students who experience an Emergency situation that impedes their ability to be academically successful.  This financial support can be requested for various needs; any approved support will be paid directly on behalf of the student. Students are only able to apply for this Emergency Needs Support once.
