We want to make sure Commencement is a day to remember for you and your families. Please follow the check list items below and check back regularly for updates.

Fill out your Intent to Graduate form:

• This form must be completed whether you plan to attend commencement or not.
  • Fall/Winter graduate deadline: November 21, 2025
  • Spring/Summer graduate deadline: March 27, 2026
• Students must complete ITG by deadline in order to participate in the Commencement ceremony. 
• Failure to meet the deadline may result in your name being omitted from the Commencement program and delay you from receiving your diploma. 
• Please allow three to five days for the processing of your ITG. You can log in to OASIS to verify if your name is on the Candidate’s List. Completing the Intent to Graduate form does not automatically register you to participate in the commencement ceremony.

Register for Commencement:

• All students who filled our their Intent to Graduate form will receive an email from Tassel to register for the Commencement ceremony.
• Students received an email from Tassel regarding Commencement registration. The deadline to register for Commencement is Friday, April 24.  

Tickets:

• Students received an email from Tassel regarding Commencement registration and ticket requests. The deadline for ticket requests is Friday, April 24. 
• Students will be allotted 6 guest tickets and will be distribution by the Nassau Coliseum via Ticketmaster.
• Tickets will be available roughly one to two weeks prior to Commencement. Keep an eye on your FSC email for more information regarding Commencement ticket distribution.

Order your Caps and Gowns:

• Pre orders are closed. Students can purchase regalia in-person at the Bookstore starting April 13. Pre ordered regalia can also be picked-up beginning April 13 at the campus bookstore.
• All students must have the new official FSC branded regalia in order to participate in commencement.
• Please continue checking your FSC email for pick up details and updates. For pricing and other regalia related questions, please contact the College Bookstore at 631-485-8650 during regular business hours.

Grad Fair:

• Monday, April 13 - 10 AM - 6 PM, Campus Center, Ballroom
• Unable to attend the Grad Fair? Please visit the Campus Center lobby on Thursday, April 23, 10 AM - 4 PM - to get your commencement questions answered.

Senior Portraits:

• Senior portraits are more exciting than ever! Reserve your portrait session today and capture this milestone moment.
  • Choose from available dates.
  • Complimentary professional headshot will be provided to all graduates who take a grad photo.
  • This year, graduation portraits will be featured during commencement — giving your family the chance to see you on the jumbotron. Don’t miss this special opportunity to celebrate your achievement!
    • A $10 session fee is charged at the time of booking. This fee is applied toward the cost of any photo package or items purchased.
