Eligibility Requirements

Be a U.S. citizens or permanent residents
Be a first-time freshman
Be accepted into the Applied Mathematics or Bioscience major at Farmingdale State College
Have a strong academic record in high school
Have demonstrated financial need as determined by the financial aid office
Individuals from groups underrepresented in STEM (including those who identify as African American/African-descent/Black, Hispanic/Latino/Latina, Pacific Islander, Native Hawaiian, or Native Alaskan, and/or first-generation students) are encouraged to apply
Retention Criteria - Requirements for continued participation in the program will include:

Remain a biology or Applied Math major at Farmingdale State College
Full-time student status
Maintain a GPA of 3.0
Satisfactory academic progress in chosen major
