Resident Assistant (RA) Recruitment Information

The Residence Life Office is excited to announce that we are beginning the search for Resident Assistants (RAs) for the 2026-2027 academic year!

What is a Resident Assistant (RA)?

The RA position is a meaningful leadership opportunity that allows students to support their peers, build community, and contribute to a positive residential experience on campus. 

Eligibility Requirements

• Must maintain a semester and cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Must have a sophomore, junior, senior, or transfer student status
• Must be in good disciplinary standing with Farmingdale State College at the time of application

Recruitment Timeline
