I'm Ram-Bo the ram, the official mascot for Farmingdale State College, a SUNY institution on Long Island in New York.
You can find me at all different kinds of events around campus, such as Farmingdale Fest, Ramchella, Fountain Fest, and at the Athletics games where I cheer on our teams. Make sure to stop me for a picture and to say "hello" when you see me!
The 12 represents the year Farmingdale State College was founded, which was 1912.
I like reading reading a lot of different books, novels, articles etc. When I want
to keep up with what's happening on campus I check out the News Room & Media Center articles.
Oh and Farmingdale State College has this super cool annual magazine called FSCNow. My dream is to feature on it one day because I really love it.
When I have to study or find new books to read I go to Greenly Library. When I wanna work out I hit the Nold Athletic Complex or go to the Giving Gardens for a walk.
When I am super hungry I go to the Campus Center to grab a meal and hang out with friends.
When I have no idea what to do, I check the FSC website for what's happening that day, doing that has helped me find so many events.
I love everything about Farmingdale State College. It's been my home since 1912 and I have seen it grow from an agricultural institution to an amazing college that offers so many opportunities, even Masters degrees now!
I also love that Farmingdale State College is always coming up with new ideas to spread joy among it's community, like FSC Perks, a new program that connects local businesses to students, faculty, and staff for different discounts and benefits. I think that is really nice.
If you would like me to come to your event, please fill out the Book Ram-Bo (RamCentral).
