Earth Week Events - Wednesday

Do you enjoy being outdoors? Do you have a passion for the environment? Do you want to learn how to be a good steward of our planet? Then join FSC's Office for Sustainability in celebrating Earth Week! These campus activities will get you outdoors, appreciating the environment and learning how to become more sustainable. Sustainability is a top priority for FSC - and Earth Week is our time to shine green! Join us in our week-long celebration. All are welcome.

Earth Week Events for April 19

• 12pm-3pm: AMP Fit Outdoor Bootcamp Class

  Fitness classes are sponsored and run by Campus Recreation.
  These high intensity interval sessions are a challenging full-body workout that will have you burning calories and getting fit! This well rounded conditioning program will get you moving and energized to take on the day. Great for all levels of fitness. Enjoy this special class on the Campus Center Lawn starting at noon.

  • Session 3 | 2-3 pm 

• 2pm-3pm: Horticulture Garden Tour

  Tour is hosted and sponsored by the Horticulture Department.
  Come explore our gardens! The Gardens are a source of inspiration and education for both the campus and Long Island community. Take a guided tour led by the Chair of the Horticulture Department and see what this hidden campus gem is all about! Please arrive at the Garden Gates 15 minutes early, as tour will start promptly at 2pm. Register here.

• 6-8pm: Documentary Night | Cowspiracy
  

  Documentary presented by the Office for Sustainability.
  Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret is a groundbreaking feature-length environmental documentary following intrepid filmmaker Kip Andersen as he uncovers the most destructive industry facing the planet today – and investigates why the world’s leading environmental organizations are too afraid to talk about it. Presented in Quintyne, Room 100. Light refreshments provided. Register here.
