Following Members Make Up the Advisory Committee:

 

Allan Weissman

Allan Weissmann has been with the US Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) for over thirty years.  He began his career in Milwaukee, WI. where as a postal inspector he helped enforce the over 200 federal statutes that pertain to the US Mail.  Several years later he transferred back home to the NY Division eventually becoming its Public Information Officer.  As the PIO he appeared on national TV and had been quoted in newspapers around the globe.  He is currently an investigative support analyst working behind the scenes for the Global Security team of the USPlS.  “It gives me a great sense of pride to work alongside my fellow board members who have had such distinguished careers in security and Law Enforcement.  Together we are committed to helping Farmingdale State College’s Security System and Law Enforcement Technology Department provide students with the relevant skills and education they’ll need to be successful in their chosen careers”.

Anthony Agolia

Anthony Agolia is the Director of International and Non-J.D. Programs at Fordham University School of Law, where he manages all aspects of Fordham Law’s LL.M., M.S.L. and S.J.D. programs. He oversees the daily operations of all LL.M. student advisement and career planning activities and is responsible for administering a full suite of academic enrichment and career service programming for a population of approximately 200 Fordham Law students. 

Prior to joining Fordham, Anthony served most recently as College Dean and Chief Academic Officer of Briarcliffe College.  

Anthony graduated from the Honors Program at James Madison University with bachelor's degree in Philosophy and earned a J.D. from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law.  He is a member of the New York bar and has experience in the areas of corporate, real estate and immigration law.  Although he is no longer practicing law full-time, he still has a pro bono practice specializing in representing clients in Special Immigrant Juvenile proceedings. 

Anthony Agolia

Sean Ogonowski

Lieutenant Ogonowski has 27 years of combined experience in the security/ Law enforcement field.  Mr. Ogonowski is currently working at Suffolk Community College in a leadership position, as a Lieutenant of College Public Safety.  In addition to coordinating Public Safety daily activities at Suffolk Community College, Lt. Ogonowski has helped to create policies that have been used in the Public Safety response plan.  He has also helped to create the Field Training Program for new recruits, and serves as a Field Training Officer.  Mr. Ogonowski is an active member of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement officers.  In addition to graduating from the New York City Police academy, Lieutenant Ogonowski holds an advanced university degree, (Mater of Science) in Protection Management/ Emergency Management from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Manhattan.  Mr. Ogonowski is a New York State Certified DCJS General Topics Instructor, and a Security Guard Instructor.  He currently serves on the Law Enforcement Technology Curriculum Advisory Committee at Farmingdale State College University.  Mr. Ogonowski hopes to inspire individuals interested in the security and Law enforcement field.
