Online Student System – OASIS

You are able to view your financial aid awards, required documents and status online, at any time, using our Online Student System, OASIS. We strongly encourage you to use this online application, as it will expedite the processing of your awards and answer basic questions you may have regarding the status of your financial aid.

To access your OASIS account, proceed to MyFSC at www.farmingdale.edu, and open via the OASIS link on the left-hand side. Once on OASIS, click on the four boxes on the top left, Banner, Student & then Financial Aid to access the Financial Aid section of the portal. To begin, use the aid year drop down at the top of the page to ensure the correct year is displayed.

If your application is selected for verification or missing any documents, your OASIS account will display the outstanding requirements and/or direct you to a link for completion. These requirements will be listed on the home page.

Award acceptance is only required for subsidized/unsubsidized Direct Loans, and Federal Work Study. If accepting loans, you will also have to complete DL-ENT (Direct Loan Entrance Counseling) and MPN (Master Promissory Note) for your first loan. Please complete these two steps at www.studentaid.gov; Farmingdale is listed as “State University of New York at Far.” Any questions when completing these two steps can be directed to 1-800-557-7394. Since grants do not have to be repaid, they are accepted automatically on your behalf.

To accept your award(s) online, once logged in, click on the offer tab and scroll down to the offered loans and/or Work Study. Use the drop down next to the award to either accept or decline.
