Online Student System – OASIS

You are able to view your financial aid awards, required documents and status online, at any time, using our Online Student System, OASIS. We strongly encourage you to use this online application, as it will expedite the processing of your awards and answer basic questions you may have regarding the status of your financial aid.

To access your OASIS account, proceed to www.farmingdale.edu, search “OASIS” and the access link will appear. Once on the OASIS login page, use your SSN or RAM ID and PIN to gain access. You will be provided several options to view your records.

If your application is selected for verification, your OASIS account will display any outstanding requirements and/or direct you to a link for completion. To view these requirements, after logging in, click on “financial aid”, “eligibility” and “student requirements”. Use the drop-down arrow to select the appropriate academic year.

Award acceptance is only required for subsidized/unsubsidized Direct Stafford Loans, and Federal Work Study. If accepting loans, you will also have to complete DL-ENT (Direct Loan Entrance Counseling) and E-MPN (Master Promissory Note) for your first loan. Please complete these two steps at www.studentaid.gov; Farmingdale is listed as “State University of New York at Far".  Any questions when completing these two steps can be directed to 1-800-557-7394. Since grants do not have to be repaid, they are accepted automatically on your behalf.

To accept your award(s) online, once logged in, click on “financial aid”, “award” and “award by aid year”. Use the drop-down arrow to select the appropriate academic school year for which you wish to accept/decline aid. Once the academic year has been selected, click on the “accept award offer” tab to continue.
