Madeline A. Quintyne-McConney is a community leader, advocate, and mentor who has dedicated her life to empowering her community on Long Island, New York. She shares the inspiring journey of her upbringing, the influence of her parents, and her passion for advocacy. Born in Harlem and raised in Amityville, Long Island, Madeline's life has been a testament to public service and a deep dedication to the well-being of others.

Her parents, who instilled in her the values of love, peace, and helping others, were her guiding lights. They actively participated in their community and fought for social justice. Their influence is evident in all that Madeline does.

Madeline's journey began with attending countless meetings alongside her parents. While she may not have enjoyed them as a child, these experiences laid the foundation for her future as a leader and advocate. She learned the importance of  being at the table,  having a voice, and understanding how to enact change.

Driven by a passion for helping others, Madeline pursued a career in social work. She earned both her undergraduate and master's degrees in this field, solidifying her commitment to social justice and uplifting her community.
