Our programs are designed to launch future engineers and information technology specialists toward fulfilling professional careers that foster the development and implementation of technical solutions in a wide variety of environments. Our faculty focus on active learning utilizing state of the art technical tools in combination with engineering knowledge. Unique cutting-edge research activities provide exceptional opportunities for students to collaborate with faculty and staff to address applied hardware and software challenges. As a national leader in engineering technology education, Farmingdale State College has a long history of high accreditation standards with ABET accreditation for all our engineering technology programs, including electrical, mechanical, civil, and architectural disciplines. In addition, our aviation programs are AABI accredited.
