The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate is open to working professionals, as well as FSC students, staff, and alumni. Because Black Belt training is advanced and project-driven, participants are strongly encouraged to have a solid foundation in continuous improvement and professional experience.

Recommended eligibility includes:

• No formal degree required
• 3+ years of professional work experience in one or more areas of the ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt Body of Knowledge
• Current employment is highly recommended (to support real-world application and project work)
• Prior coursework in statistics is recommended, but not required
