COURSE DESCRIPTION

Adobe Premiere Pro Proficiency is a stand-alone, in-person module designed to introduce participants to professional video editing and storytelling workflows. This hands-on course covers timeline editing, basic transitions, audio adjustments, titles, and exporting content for web and social platforms. Upon successful completion, participants earn a Farmingdale State College Proficiency Badge recognizing foundational proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.

 


LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon successful completion of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Navigate the Adobe Premiere Pro interface and manage media files within a professional editing workflow.
  • Edit video content using timeline-based tools, including trimming, sequencing, and basic transitions.
  • Apply foundational audio adjustments, titles, and captions to enhance video clarity and impact.
  • Export short-form video content using appropriate settings for web, social media, and digital platforms.

REGISTRATION AND TUITION

Adobe Premiere Pro Proficiency is offered as a stand-alone module for $300. Participants who successfully complete the course earn a Farmingdale State College Proficiency Badge recognizing foundational skills in Adobe Premiere Pro. At this time, students must come already with a license for Adobe Cloud. Please see Adobe's Education discount page for more information. 
 
A 10% discount is available to Farmingdale State College students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
