COURSE DESCRIPTION

Adobe Illustrator Proficiency is a stand-alone, in-person module focused on building foundational skills in vector-based design. Participants learn to create scalable graphics such as logos, icons, and illustrations using industry-standard tools and workflows. Upon successful completion, participants earn a Farmingdale State College Proficiency Badge recognizing foundational proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.

 


LEARNING OUTCOMES 

Upon successful completion of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Create and edit scalable vector graphics using core Illustrator tools and workflows.
  • Use shapes, paths, and the Pen Tool to develop clean, professional designs.
  • Apply color, typography, and basic branding principles to vector artwork.
  • Export vector assets appropriately for print, web, and digital applications.

REGISTRATION AND TUITION

Adobe Illustrator Proficiency is available as a stand-alone module for $300. Upon successful completion, participants earn a Farmingdale State College Proficiency Badge recognizing foundational skills in Adobe Illustrator. At this time, students must come already with a license for Adobe Cloud. Please see Adobe's Education discount page for more information. 

A 10% discount is available to Farmingdale State College students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
