Professional Communications

The Professional Communications department inspires students to develop their communication skills to be authentic, captivating story tellers. There are extraordinary benefits and career paths for individuals who can effectively engage their audiences by communicating creatively.

Our program prepares students to work with emerging technologies that allow them to compete in this broad field that offers a wide range of career opportunities. Some of our students see themselves as journalists, film writers, researchers, or influencers. Others seek to work in mass media/marketing and public relations firms, website and social media, healthcare, sports organizations, not-for-profits, law and many other industries. Whether it is graphic, oral or written language, we strive to help our students to reach their goals.
