About the Program
- This study abroad program will be led by 2 FSC professors:
- Prof. Bill Dodge | VIS 105 Introduction to Photography
- Prof. Alexandra Giordano | ART 202W Survey of Art History: Early Renaissance to the Present
- All courses will be conducted on site in France
- The classes will meet on campus prior to departure and after returning to introduce the students to what they will experience firsthand and also to satisfy the minimum hours of a three credit class
- Spring semester course with a travel component over Spring Break
Program Requirements
- GPA Requirement: 2.5 minimum
- Student must be in good disciplinary standing
- Program offered to freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors
Academics
- Up to 6 credits
- Students must be a matriculated student at Farmingdale State College
- Students will be registered for these courses during the normal spring course advisement and registration period which begins in October
Housing
- Students stay in local hotel accommodations in shared rooms
- Single rooms available at an additional cost
- Faculty will be staying at the same location as the students
