The STEM Diversity Summit, in alliance with Long Island STEP, will continue to inspire K-12, higher education, business and industry in exploring innovation to strengthen STEM teaching and learning in the 21st century.
Best practices and research exhibits in STEM/STEAM by public school students in Grades 6-12 will be featured, as well as presentations on sustainable energy technologies and bio technologies, cyber security, and manufacturing by national, regional, and local businesses.

Farmingdale State College is proud to announce that we have the honor of hosting the 2026 STEM Diversity Summit. As we continue to strengthen our commitment to cultivating an inclusive and diverse campus community, we look forward to highlighting the vital impact of STEM education and careers in today's world.
In partnership with the Office of Equity & Inclusion, Academic Support and Access Programs, the School of Engineering and Technology, the Events Management Team, and our valued District Partners, we are excited to offer a dynamic experience filled with interactive and engaging STEM-focused activities. Together, we aim to celebrate the power and possibilities of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Registration Opens: Wednesday, January 21st, 2026
A maximum of 180 students will be registered for this event and will be open on a first come, first serve basis. There will be a limit of 5 posters per registration.
