Perceptions of the Elderly on Young Adult's Climate Change Actions

RAM research assistants will help recruit older adult participants in the community to participate in a study using videos to reduce ageism and increase positive perceptions of young adults. Research assistants will learn how to clean and analyze the collected survey data and present it in poster form. They will also help to draft a manuscript to submit for publication. 

Research assistants will spend 2 weeks familiarizing themselves with the literature review and proposed project. They will spend 5 weeks recruiting community participants (older adults) from libraries and supermarkets. They will spend 1 week cleaning and analyzing data. They will spend 2 weeks creating a poster presentation and drafting a manuscript for publication.

None, all are welcomed! Novice researchers encouraged! 

Presenting our poster at IGNITE 2027, SURC 2027, and the Eastern Psychological Association annual meeting in March 2027 in Philadelphia. We will also submit this paper for publication in the Journal of International Relationships where I previously published a similar study.

10:30AM - 1:00PM 
Students will complete additional work at home according to their own schedules. This work will include literature review and manuscript drafting.
