The Community Engaged Grant, a monetary grant to faculty, staff and/or a department to be used for a future community service project/initiative in summer 2024-spring 2025. 2025 Recipients will be celebrated at the 2026 Day of Service.

Faculty, Staff, or Departments

Monetary awards of up to $2,500 are available for a faculty member, staff member, and/or a department to be used for a future community service project/initiative in summer 2024-spring 2025. Proposals are invited by faculty or staff members, with joint applications welcome, including from departments. Applicants should submit a detailed proposal for the future community service initiative, including the anticipated timeline for the project and related costs/use of award funding.

Student Organizations

In addition to the awards listed above, a monetary award of $500 is available to be added to the operating budget of a recognized student organization on campus for the 2024-2025 academic year. Members of student clubs should submit a written statement for why their organization should be considered for this recognition and their plans for how funds would be used to further the mission of the club.

To Submit a Future Funding Proposal:
Please provide a detailed proposal for a community service project that you will undertake between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025. Please include a timeline and itemized budget proposal.
