The RAM Program is extremely excited to welcome the newest members of the RAMily, Celeste Demby and Rita Gross!
Celeste Demby has 15 years of experience in higher education, working in residence life and academic advising. She is originally from New Jersey, did her undergraduate work at St. John's University, and graduated with a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from New York University. She is passionate about curriculum development, graphic design, coaching, advising, and wellness. When she's not working, she can be found at home spending time with her two children and snuggling her cat. Celeste will be joining the RAM Program as a First-Year Counselor! |

Rita Gross, a 30-year-old German transplant. She and her family just relocated back to Long Island after living in Westchester and upstate NY for a while. She is a SUNY kid through and through (Bachelor’s at Purchase, Master’s at UAlbany) and is thrilled to join the RAM program. If she's not at work, you can find her either at the beach, in a bookstore, or a coffee shop, preferably a coffee shop inside a bookstore, or walking her Pit mix Phoebe. Most recently, Rita worked for a small private college in their online advising department. My background is in Socio-Cognitive and Cross-cultural Psychology Research, where she explored how the cultures we grow up in and the languages we speak affect the way we think, judge, and decide. Rita will be joining the RAM Program as a Second Year Counselor!
