National Nurses Week begins every year on May 6 and ends on May 12. During this week, we celebrate our students, alumni, and professional staff who are the unsung heroes. Thank you all for what you do.

Lori Goodstone, Chair of Nursing, puts it best “National Nurses week is celebrated May 6-12. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our FSC nurses, for all of your service and everything you do to make our healthcare world a better place. Thank you, now more than ever. It takes a special person, in a time-honored profession, to go to work every day facing their own fears to care for and ease the fear of others. Nursing has been on the front line caring for the sick when others have been sheltered in place. With courage, compassion, and resilience the 4 million+ nurses and LPNs in the U.S. and the nurses across the globe persevered during the COVID-19 pandemic to care for the rest of us. Caring for one person is love, caring for hundreds is nursing. Thank you, be well and stay safe.”
