Dental Hygiene Care Center Policy
An individualized radiographic examination is required of all patients. Exceptions are at the discretion of the supervising dentist. The number and length of appointments will be determined by the student hygienist and his/her supervising instructor. The frequency of visits will be based on patient needs as determined by the instructor and student. Patients who do not provide a learning experience for our students will be referred elsewhere. Prior to treatment a medical clearance from the patients personal physician may be required. Patients in need of treatment not provided by the Care Center will be referred appropriately.
Facilities for the disabled are available. Parking passes are required to park on campus. A pass must be picked up at the University Police center. You must get a new pass at each visit. If you have had dental radiographs taken within the past two years, please bring a copy with you to your first appointment at our Care Center.
