Professional Experience:

Before Bill Miller Design…

Bill cut his advertising teeth at Ted Bates New York where he worked on a range of notable clients including Cinemax & Home Box Office, Coors Beer, General Foods, Hertz, Maybelline, M&M Mars, Panasonic, Prudential and U.S. Navy — not bad for his first agency job. Other NYC agencies included: Ogilvy & Mather Direct, Drossman Lehmann Marino and Warren/Kremer/CMP.

Desiring more time with his family and less time on the train, Bill brought his talents home to some of Long Island’s top agencies including Donaudy Munch, Greenstone Roberts, Phillips Miller Speyer & Frost and Sanna Mattson McLeod & Macri.

At Rabasca & Company, which merged with Kupper Parker Communications (KPC), he created award-winning work for American Express Bank, Arrow Electronics, Astoria Federal Savings, ComforTemp, Good Shepherd Hospice, Meenan Oil, Palm Bay Imports and the New York Islanders. KPC clients included Cablevision, Domino Sugar, Francesco Rinaldi, Harmon Golf, Santa Fe Salsa, Stony Brook University Hospital and OneBeacon Insurance.

Bill Miller Design is the culmination of his creative experience and ability to deliver successful marketing communications. Regardless of a client’s size or budget, the same simple approach and attention to detail is given. It all starts with a single-page creative brief which asks basic questions like — Why are we advertising? — Who are we advertising to? — What is the single most persuasive idea we want to share with our consumer? He works directly with clients or is available for advertising agency freelance. To preview some of his work visit billmillerdesign.com

In addition to Bill Miller Design…

For the past 14 years, he’s been employed by Suffolk County Community College as a Professional Assistant. He works directly with the Office of Institutional Advancement producing the College’s marketing & communications. Bill wears a lot of hats in service to the College - Art Director, Designer, Photographer and Golfer (once a year during the annual College fund raiser). He’s responsible for ads, annual reports, banners, collateral, logo development, posters, retouching, web graphics, etc.

Lastly, as a life-long photographer, his work is on display and for sale at billmillerdigital.com
