Calling All Eligible FSC First-Generation Students: Membership Now Open!

First-Gen Students are Invited to Apply for Membership. Please refer to the Information and Application Link Below!

Farmingdale State College is pleased to announce the formation of a new honor society, Alpha Alpha Alpha (or Tri-Alpha), which recognizes the academic achievements of first-generation college students.

 

To Qualify:

• you must be a current degree candidate at Farmingdale State College,
• who has completed at least 30 credit hours, including at least one semester at Farmingdale State College (for transfer students),
• who has an overall GPA of at least 3.2 in all coursework, and
• who comes from a family where neither parent nor any legal guardians earned a bachelor’s degree.

Please complete the Electronic Application Form and return it by Friday, October 9, 2026. After the Co-Advisors review and approve your application, you will receive instructions on how to submit the induction fee (not to exceed $40), which must be paid by noon on October 15, 2025.
