AMERICAN FLAG INSTALLATION

After the Memorial Ceremony, President Prezant invites guests to honor the 25th Anniversary of September 11th by placing an American flag in front of Horton Hall's 9/11 Memorial in honor of:

  • A life lost
  • A first responder
  • A service member
  • Someone you love
  • A commitment to perform an act of kindness or service for others

"Even the smallest act of service, the simplest act of kindness, is a way to honor those we lost, a way to reclaim that spirit of unity that followed 9/11."
                     - President Obama in a 2011 radio address
