SIZZLE II: A Summer Survey of Contemporary Art on Long Island (Exhibition)

The Memorial Gallery at Farmingdale State College is pleased to present SIZZLE II: A Survey of Contemporary Art on Long Island, a wide-ranging summer exhibition featuring works by contemporary artists living and working across Long Island. The exhibition opens June 22 and remains on view through August 21, 2026, in the Memorial Gallery, located in Hale Hall.

Curated by Beth Giacummo, SIZZLE II includes a dynamic cross-section of current artistic practice on Long Island. The exhibition showcases the vitality and diversity of the region's creative community, bringing together work in a broad range of media including painting, mixed media, sculpture, photography, and small-scale installation.

  • Location: Memorial Gallery, Hale Hall Farmingdale State College 2350 Broadhollow Road Farmingdale, NY 11735
  • Gallery Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
