2026 Teach Me How To Heal Mental Health Conference
About the Teach Me How to Heal Conference
The Office of Community and Civic Engagement (OCCE) is proud to partner on Teach Me How to Heal, a two-day experiential conference focused on the intersection of mental health, wellness, and community connection in today’s polarized world. The conference centers healing as both a personal and civic practice, recognizing that individual well-being is foundational to healthy communities, meaningful dialogue, and civic participation.
Participants will engage with mental health professionals, wellness practitioners,
and advocates who use education, storytelling, and evidence-based interventions to
promote emotional healing, resilience, and stability. Through interactive breakout
sessions and restorative wellness experiences, attendees will gain practical tools
to support their mental health while building a sense of belonging, empathy, and shared
responsibility within their communities.
Designed as a safe and inclusive space for young adults, Teach Me How to Heal encourages
open dialogue, reduces stigma around mental health, and strengthens collective well-being.
By fostering self-awareness, resilience, and mutual support, the conference empowers
participants to thrive personally while contributing to more compassionate, engaged,
and healthy communities.
