About the Envision Scholars Program
The Envision Scholars Program is designed for freshman and sophomore students who are interested in pursuing medical school and want to build a strong academic and professional foundation early in their journey.

This program provides opportunities to:

  • Connect with current medical students and physicians
  • Participate in workshops across multiple medical disciplines, with emphasis on primary care specialties (internal medicine, OB/GYN, surgery, pediatrics)
  • Engage in professional development programming
  • Present scholarly work through poster presentations
  • Receive mentorship and early exposure to the medical field

Who Should Attend?
This opportunity is intended for students who identify as underrepresented in medicine, including:

  • Students from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds
  • Students who identify as Black/African American or Hispanic/Latinx
  • First-generation college students

The program’s mission is to increase the diversity of the physician workforce through early exposure, mentorship, and structured professional development.

Interested in medical school?
Come learn how the Envision Scholars Program can support your path to becoming a physician. Representatives will discuss program benefits, eligibility, the application process, and will be available to answer your questions.
