Best known for his unforgettable role as Dustin in Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things, Gaten Matarazzo has become one of the most recognizable young actors of his generation. His career began on Broadway, appearing in the original production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert as Benji, and later earning acclaim for standout performances in Godspell (2013) and Les Misérables (2014), where he portrayed Gavroche both on Broadway and in the 25th Anniversary North American Tour.

Recognized by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the top 30 stars under 30, Gaten continues to showcase his passion for the stage with roles in Dear Evan Hansen, Sweeney Todd, and Parade.

On screen, Gaten stars as the voice of Sig Greebling in the Disney+ animated series LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy and its four-part sequel Pieces of the Past, both released in 2024. Fans can also look forward to his return in the highly anticipated fifth and final season of Stranger Things, premiering in November 2025.

Beyond his acting career, Gaten is a passionate advocate for raising awareness about cleidocranial dysplasia (CCD)—a condition that affects bone and dental development. Through his foundation, CCD Smiles, he helps families afford dental care and has spoken on Capitol Hill in support of the Ensuring Lasting Smiles Act (ELSA), a bipartisan bill promoting insurance coverage for individuals born with congenital conditions.

At just 23 years old, Gaten continues to expand his creative pursuits, with aspirations to explore directing and writing—promising even more exciting chapters ahead in his already remarkable journey.
