Rams of the World Unite!

Join us on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, as Farmingdale State College celebrates International Education Week (IEW) November 17 through November 21, 2025.

During IEW, Farmingdale State College would like to recognize all the ways in which students, faculty, and staff make FSC a global community. We invite students, faculty, and staff to share their experiences living, studying, and working abroad. If you are an international student studying at FSC, how is your experience living in the United States impacting you? What are the challenges, and what are the joys of interacting with a diverse community in an international setting?

Event highlights: The impact that overseas experiences have had on FSC Faculty & Staff.

  • Yu Chen - Applying Ethnographic Skills to Make Yourself a Cultural Savvy
  • Brianna Gonzalez & Marya Howell-Carter - Building More than Houses: Our Service-Learning Journey in the Dominican Republic
