Farmingdale State College (FSC) recognized 21 students, organizations and faculty that contributed to a more positive atmosphere on campus during the 2022/23 academic year. Conducted each year by the Office of Student Activities, Campus Life Awards are given to those who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to campus life and the FSC community through their leadership and involvement in campus activities.
“Our Campus Life Awards are a testament to the influence individuals and organizations can have on the campus,” said Kevin Murphy, Executive Dean of Student Engagement at Farmingdale State College. “You built connections and learned from one another. Your contributions made a positive impact on the lives of your peers.”
Held May 2 in the Campus Center, the annual ceremony was attended by FSC President John S. Nader, who recognized the students’ accomplishments, especially noteworthy considering the number of work and family obligations FSC students juggle, in addition to their academic commitments.
The 21 students and groups and one faculty member include:
